Subscriber Bot is intended to be a platform, not a closed app. The adapter/plugin framework is what makes that possible: providers (or the community) build an adapter extension for a service, and Subscriber Bot gains the ability to manage relationships with it directly.
The model is deliberately analogous to a meta-plugin talking to provider plugins: a small, well-defined contract for actions like subscribe, cancel, change plan, fetch invoices, and read entitlements. Once an adapter exists, every Subscriber Bot user benefits — discovery, the Universal Inbox, autonomous policies, and one-click actions all light up for that provider.
The broader ecosystem vision includes connectors, workflows, automations, dashboards, and analytics apps, all driven by an event bus (SubscriptionCreated, RenewalDetected, InvoiceReceived, TrialEnding, ChurnPredicted) and a workflow engine. The goal is network effects: every new adapter makes the system more valuable for everyone.
